Chapter 7 - Main missions in Extinction Extinction Guide & Walkthrough

In this section you will find all the information about the main and secondary objectives in the seventh chapter of Extinction. This chapter is divided into 5 missions in which, apart from 5 main tasks, we can also win 7 medals for secondary tasks. All missions are described in their respective sections.

Deaths Doorstep

Main Objectives

1. Kill 6 Ravenii.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat a proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Defend the city.
4. Time trial.
5. Don't die.
6. Save civilians.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

After the start of the mission, the first Ravenni will appear almost immediately. On the way to the enemy save civilians in order to power up the level of "kill strike". It is worth making sure that after reaching another Ravenni the power level is high enough to be able to execute the monster after destroying its armor parts and then cutting off its limbs. To complete main objectives, kill 4 Ravenii and don't allow to the destruction of the city. In this mission, there will be a maximum of two opponents of this type at the same time.

The Great Attrition

Main Objectives

1. Kill 30 Jackals.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
2. Defend the city.
3. Time trial.
4. Don't die.
5. Save civilians.
6. Defeat a proper number of Ravenii.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

Jackals spawn near teleports.

The main objective of this mission is to defeat 30 Jackals. Opponents often appear in the area of teleports, look for them there. Be careful, because at this stage of the game there is practically every kind of opponent in the area, from basic Jackals through Vultures to Elite Jackals.

Depending on the secondary objective, the tactics here are slightly different. If you want to save civilians, it's a simple task, because you will be near teleports anyway. In case of defeating Ravenii it's quite easy too, because Jackals often appear near the colossi. In a time trial, it is best to use your special power to defeat your opponents, as this is the quickest way of killing them.

Rally to the King

Main Objectives

1. Save 25 civilians.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat a proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Defend the city.
4. Time trial.
5. Don't die.
6. Save civilians.
7. Defeat a proper number of Ravenii.
8. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

Crystals are usually located in the vicinity of each other.

In this mission, the main task is to save 20 civilians of the city. In fact, this mission is not different from other tasks of this type and nothing should surprise you here. Use the same tactics, i.e. at first, defeat the Jackals in the vicinity and then launch the portal.

It may happen that during the rescue there are many enemies in the area - in this case interrupt the opponents, defeat Jackals and return to rescuing the inhabitants.

The Last Hour

Main Objectives

1. Protect the guard towers for 9 minutes.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat a proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Defend the city.
4. Time trial.
5. Don't die.
6. Save civilians.
7. Defeat a proper number of Ravenii.
8. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

Don't let the Ravenii to get near the guard towers at all cost!

In this mission, your main task is to protect guard towers from Ravenii's attack. Once you're in the game, take care of getting the appropriate level of "kill strike", e.g. by saving the residents, in order to defeat the first Ravenii as soon as possible.

At intervals - before your next opponent arrives, load up the kill strike skill by saving civilians or killing Jackals. If the secondary objective is not related to killing the Ravenii, you can try to keep them away from the city. However, it must happen when two colossi will appear in close proximity to each other. Then destroy the armors on their legs and cut them off alternately.

Disabled colossuses have no chance of reaching the city. But keep in mind that this is only possible when Ravenii appear side by side.

Finale

Main Objectives

1. Save 15 civilians.
2. Kill 2 Ravenii.

Secondary Objectives

1. Kill 25 Jackals.
2. Kill 5 Ravenii
3. Complete the mission with city preserved at 50%.

In this mission, the main objectives consist of four parts. In the beginning you have to save 15 citizens. You have a lot of time to fulfill this task, because the first Ravenii will appear later. By the way, it is worth attacking as many Jackals as possible to complete the additional objective.

Your next task consist in killing two Ravenii. The first one will appear with Spike Armor and the next one has a randomly generated armor. Along the way, you should try to save as many civilians as you can and kill the Jackals, because a charged level of your special skill will be very useful in order to execute your enemies.

After you defeat at least two colossi, save another group of civilians. At this point, you must focus not only on looking for teleports, but also on defending the city against Ravenii, because they are spawning all the time. After saving another group of people, kill another two Ravenii and complete the mission.
