Chapter 6 - Main missions in Extinction Extinction Guide & Walkthrough

In this section you will find all the information about the main and secondary objectives in the sixth chapter of Extinction. This chapter is divided into 5 missions in which, apart from 5 main tasks, you can also win 9 medals for side tasks. All missions are described in their respective sections.

Second Chances

Main Objectives

1. Defend the guard towers for 6 minutes.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat a proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Time trial.
4. Don't die.
5. Defeat a specific number of Ravenii.
6. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

In this mission, your main task is to protect guard towers from Ravenii's attack. Once you're in the game, take care of getting the appropriate level of "kill strike", e.g. by saving the residents, in order to defeat the first Ravenii as soon as possible. At intervals - before your next opponent arrives, load up the kill strike skill level by saving civilians or killing Jackals.

If the secondary objective is not related to killing the Ravenii, you can try to keep them away from the city. However, it must happen when two colossi will appear in close proximity to each other. Then destroy the armors on their legs and cut them off alternately. Disabled colossuses have no chance of reaching the city. But keep in mind that this is only possible when Ravenii appear side by side.

Behind Enemy Lines

Main Objectives

1. Save 25 citizens.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Overcome the appropriate number of Jackals.
2. Destroy an adequate number of armoring elements.
3. Defend the city.
4. Don't die.
5. Time trial.
6. Defeat a specific number of Ravenii.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

In this mission, your main task is to save 20 inhabitants of the city. In fact, this mission is not different from other tasks of this type and nothing should surprise you here.

Use the same tactics, i.e. at first, defeat the Jackals in the vicinity and then launch the portal. It may happen that during the rescue there are many enemies in the area - in this case interrupt the opponents, defeat Jackals and return to rescuing the inhabitants.

Forged in Fire

Main Objectives

1. Defeat the Ravenii with Spike Armor.

Secondary Objectives

1. Destroy 5 elements of the enemy's armor.
2. Cut off two limbs without landing.
3. Kill 1 Ravenii with all limbs cut off.

Ravenii with Spike Armor.

As soon as the mission starts, Ravenii with Spike Armor appears on the map. If you want to win all the medals, destroy the armor on the legs and hands of the colossus and its helmet.

If you want to cut two limbs without landing, it is best to choose legs - attack one of them and after cutting it off immediately turn towards the other leg.

After destroying all the elements of the armor and reaching the maximum level of "kill strike", cut off the legs and hands of Ravenii and carry out the execution. This way you will successfully complete the mission and win all the medals.

Against the Clock

Main Objectives

1. Kill 25 Jackals.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Save citizens.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Time trial.
4. Don't die.
5. Defeat a specific number of Ravenii.
6. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

Jackals usually appear near teleports.

The main task in this mission is to defeat 25 Jackals. Opponents often appear in the area of teleports, you should look for them there. Be careful, because at this stage of the game there is practically every kind of opponent in the area, from basic Jackals through Vultures to Elite Jackals.

Depending on the secondary objective, the tactics here are slightly different. If you want to save civilians, it's a simple task, because you will be near teleports anyway. In case of defeating Ravenii it's quite easy too, because Jackals often appear near the colossi. In a time trial, it is best to use your special power to defeat your opponents, as this is the quickest way of killing them.

Guardian

Main Objectives

1. Defend the guard towers for 8 minutes.

Secondary Objectives

1. Save 16 civilians.
2. Finish the mission with at least two protected guard towers.
3. Kill 4 Ravenii.

Full "kill strike" level with the arrival of second Ravenii.

If you want to do this quest and win all the medals, its best to exercise a bit. The first Ravenni will appear immediately after the start of this mission and keep in mind that this enemy is equipped with a Spike Armor.

After defeating it, run to the right side of the city, save the civilians on your way. If you save everyone, the kill strike level will be full. After that, another Ravenni will appear. Execute the monster and enter the city to save civilians, who are in the main alley. Then head towards the main gate, because another Ravenii with Spike Armor will appear there.

Hurry, because another colossus will arrive during your fight with current enemy. Armors of next colossi are generated randomly, but there will be none with Spike Armor.
