Chapter 3 - Main missions ijn Extinction Extinction Guide & Walkthrough

In this part of the game guide, you will find information on all the Main and Secondary Objectives available in the third chapter of Extinction. This chapter is divided into 4 missions, and apart from 5 main objectives, you can receive 9 medals for completing side objectives. All the available missions were described in separate sections.

Armed & Dangerous

Main Objectives

1. Defeat Ravenii.

Secondary Objectives

1. Destroy 12 pieces of armor.
2. Complete the objective without dying.
3. At least 30% of the city must remain untouched.

If you cannot cut off the legs, use your whip to climb up your enemy.

To complete this mission you will need to defeat 3 Ravenii and protect the city. As soon as the gameplay begins, try to save as many civilians as possible and charge your "kill strike" quickly.

The first Ravenii will have an indestructible armor, so your only choice is to use the whip to get on its back and execute the creature. Two more Ravenii will appear at the same time. Luckily, their armors can be destroyed, so it's possible to complete a side mission and charge your "kill strike" simultaneously.

In case of these two Ravenii, it's crucial to focus on one of them, execute the creature, and only then move towards the second opponent.

Scattered Hopes

Main Objectives

1. Save 16 civilians.

Available Secondary Objectives (random)

1. Defeat a specific number of Jackals.
2. Destroy a given number of pieces of armor.
3. Defeat a given number of Ravenii.
4. Time challenge.
5. Do not die.
6. Defend the city.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific way (e.g. execution without legs, execution in a standing position).

Teleports are located close to one another.

Your main objective is to save civilians. It's possible to do it quickly because all the markers are located close to one another.

If your side mission involves e.g. defeating a specific number of Ravenii or killing Jackals, you should rescue as many civilians as needed and complete the mission by a single teleport.

For instance, you can save 15 civilians, kill 20 Jackals, and all it takes to complete the objective is one dweller near the last crystal.

Lost Kingdom

Main Objectives

1. Kill 3 Ravenii.

Available Secondary Objectives (random)

1. Defeat a specific number of Jackals.
2. Destroy a given number of pieces of armor.
3. Save civilians.
4. Time challenge.
5. Do not die.
6. Defend the city.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific way (e.g. execution without legs, execution in a standing position).

It will take several dozen seconds before the first Ravenii appears. You should spend this time to save civilians and charge your "kill strike" or begin your side mission if it involves e.g. killing Jackals. In order to complete the Main Objectives, you will need to kill 3 Ravenii and prevent the monsters from destroying the city.

Family Ties

Main Objectives

1. Defend watchtowers for 6 minutes.

Available Secondary Objectives (random)

1. Defeat a specific number of Jackals.
2. Destroy a given number of pieces of armor.
3. Save civilians.
4. Time challenge.
5. Do not die.
6. Defeat a given number of Ravenii.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific way (e.g. execution without legs, execution in a standing position).

Don't let Ravenii reach the towers.

Your main objective is to defend watchtowers from Ravenii. You want to defeat the first Ravenii fast, so try to charge your "kill strike" by e.g. saving civilians or killing Jackals.

If your side mission is not related to killing Ravenii, you can try to keep the monsters away from the city. However, two creatures will have to appear close to one another.

If that happens, destroy their leg armor and start cutting off their legs in turns. Immobilized creatures will have no chance to reach the city. Unfortunately, this solution is only available if both Ravenii appear close to one another.

Seeking Aid

Main Objectives

1. Save the engineer.

Secondary Objectives

1. Speak with the crane operator.
2. Defeat the Ravenii when the creature is standing.
3. Complete the mission in less than 7 minutes.

The teleport where you can find the engineer.

Your objective is to rescue an engineer, who is located by one of the teleports. As soon as the mission begins, head forward and use the wooden wall located behind the third teleport to jump on the cliff.

Go right and jump to the other side. You need to be careful, as there are thorns below and you will die if you fall on them. Crystals will show you the way to the engineer.

You can complete one of the Secondary Objectives when you reach the crane. In order to speak with the operator, you will need to save him. The teleport with the engineer is on the rock, opposite to the crane.

Save the engineer and after a short conversation a Ravenii with Thorn Armor will appear on the map. Defeat the creature when it's on both legs to gain an additional medal.
