ETS2: Driver, lessee - Career Guide Euro Truck 2 Guide
Last update: 19 May 2021
Other chapters as well as subchapters describe thoroughly such elements of the gameplay as job market, taking a loan, purchasing a truck, etc. This chapter presents the very beginning of the game and a scheme of your company's development.
When you start the game, you are assigned to a quick order and you hit the road driving someone else's truck. Use Route Advisor displayed in the lower right corner to get to the destination place. Watch out for road signs, lights, speed limits and remember that it is not that easy to turn with a trailer.
When you get to your destination place, you may use quick park system, but this will cost you experience points. Therefore, try as hard as you can and park on your own. The first quick order is completed and you have earned money and experience points.
You do not own a truck. You only have an empty garage located in a selected city. To make money, you need more orders, therefore open the job market menu where you can find quick orders.
It is worth picking up those profitable i.e. which offer the best price for each kilometer. These types of orders, apart from obvious disadvantage being low profit, have some good sides: you do not have to worry about the truck - if you need fuel its cost is covered by the ordering party and you are automatically moved to a start location (you do not waste time getting there). [More about quick orders can be found in "Job market" chapter.]
