Do you know the Harvest Moon series? It is one of the first, incredibly popular farm simulators. The first version was released for the SNES and Game Boy way back in the 90s, and subsequent editions of the idyllic farm life are still getting published.

Why am I mentioning Harvest Moon when it's going to be about Story of Seasons? Better strap in, because there's some industry drama ahead. The Harvest Moon series, developed by Marvelous in Japan, has been translated into English and published in the West by Natsume. The cooperation was long-term and fruitful, but it did not last forever. There are countless farm simulators on the market and everyone will find one for themselves, with additional options and extensions that will appeal to them. However, there's only one simplest, most relaxing simulator out there, and it is Harvest Moon. I mean Story of Seasons...
