The Walking Dead: Saints And Sinners. Games you have probably missed in 2020

Table of Contents

  1. Genre: VR first-person action game
  2. Develoepr: Skydance Interactive
  3. Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4

It's no secret that Half-Life: Alyx has set a high bar for all subsequent VR games. However, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners came out a few months earlier, and, by the standards of the time, it's fair to say it's one of the better VR experiences. The creators managed to create one of the few (still) games that is a full-fledged VR experience, not just a brief demonstration of the possibilities of technology. It's a real-life survival horror that, thanks to virtual reality, deepens the effect of fear even further.

Apart from surviving among zombies, players can explore multiple locations, craft items, and enjoy combat mechanics involving melee weapons and firearms. There's also a story that throws players into New Orleans in The Walking Dead universe, where they either have to side with one faction or skillfully juggle the decisions and missions of both sides. As in any good role-playing game, one can choose more than just one path to complete a task. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners would be good even as a standard game. Among VR titles, it's a must-have item. Thanks to the motion controllers, it's even better, because we have to eliminate every zombie by swinging an axe or stabbing him in the brain.

  1. More on The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

You're going to like The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners if:

  1. you have a VR headset;
  2. you have enough short demos in VR mode and are looking for a longer, addictive game;
  3. you still like The Walking Dead universe.
