Elderborn. Games you have probably missed in 2020

Elderborn

  1. Genre: slasher FPP
  2. Developer: Hyperstrange
  3. Platforms: PC (console versions are also planned)

Elderborn is the next game to be played in 2020. This is something like Dark Souls with a first-person perspective or a tribute to Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. However we perceive Elderborn, we get a juicy slasher with close combat. Dynamic, but not as simple as in Doom Eternal, because here we have to continuously dodge, counter, and look for weaknesses in the opponent -as in Souls, but from a slightly different perspective.

The developers have created their own fantasy world with different locations, with many references to pop culture or the works of Robert E. Howard. The pulsating heavy metal soundtrack also fits well with the game. The level of animation and visuals may not amaze players, but the gameplay and vibe make up for the shortcomings. And, there's also a bit of plot and exploration – in the soul style, of course.
