Novint Falcon – PC. 15 weirdest game controllers ever created

Table of Contents

While perusing the web for the weirdest controllers, there is almost always something that looks like a futuristic robot, the purpose of which is not fully clear. This was my first impression of Novint Falcon. The controller, released in 2007 by Novint Technologies, basically replaces the mouse, so it is not 100 percent independent.

However, the way it works is really impressive – it allows the player to control the camera in the game in all possible directions using a special handle. In addition, the controls also consider the weight of the weapon, as well as the direction from which we're attacked.

Unlike console controllers, Novint Falcon works with most games available on PC. Interestingly, the controller didn't die along with Windows Vista (released in 2007). Novint allows you to play games on newer systems, such as Windows 7, 10 or 11.
