Dream Machine. 15 weirdest game controllers ever created

Table of Contents

This one-of-a-kind controller differed from the others in that it used the player's entire body. Now, someone will probably go "But Xbox Kinect also did!" or "The Wii also involved the player physically" – nevertheless the Dream Machine was a bit different. The first thing is the appearance, which to some extent resembled a cage, although admittedly did not restrict movement, and even worked in many planes. In addition, there was also a control panel at the front, with which we could control other functions, not least the direction of movement.

Dream Machine was not the invention of any company, but Mr. Robert James-Herbert, about whom we know virtually nothing, except that he was also a gamer. The man had the opportunity to present his controller at the E3 in 2005, from which the following material also comes from. In addition to a short interview with Herbert, the operation of Dream Machine was also presented. Unfortunately, the "controller" never made it beyond the testing phase and was lost in the news.
