This page describes the Refinery building in Dune Spice Wars . You will learn how and where to build the Refinery, how to collect Spice, how to get a Harvester, or whether you can have more than one Refinery.
The Refinery is the most elementary building in Dune Spice Wars . It will be used by you to obtain Spice, which is the main reason for your stay on the Arrakis planet. In turn, the Spice can be a commercial resource used to trade with other factions, it can serve as a fee for the Imperial Tax (which affects your Landsraad Standing and Hegemony points), and can be converted into Solari.
In order to have the ability to build a Refinery, you need to find a region with Spice - a purple powder icon with a purple fog floating above it. In such a village, after capturing it, you can build a Refinery. Then the Harvester will leave the Refinery - which automatically collects the spice. The only functions you manage in its case are sending and recalling it to the base when there is a threat of a Sandworm. You will be notified about it with an appropriate message (and you can turn on the Auto-recall option in the harvester's options, but this results in 5% less Spice income) .
- You can only have one Refinery in one village.
- Each refinery has only one Harvester. If it gets destroyed by a Sandworm, a new one will be produced automatically after a short time.
- You can have multiple refineries - in other villages, if they have a Spice field in the region.
