Tips:
The best solution is that in squad of four, each has a different character class. But, usually it is not possible (unless the players in a squad complement each other and select the class of their liking)
In each squad, there needs to be one medic. If it is you who plays as one, you should upgrade him to, at least, level 3, to increase regeneration, both your own and of the teammates. To the extent it is possible, try to max out on the medic - the increase in speed is really noticeable and unlimited ally regeneration distance is often also very useful.
If there already is a medic in your squad, go for the Tank. With maximum character upgrades, your health and damage you deal in combat double. This will allow you to eliminate most targets without problems, even in melee. Additionally, thanks to the increased health, you are virtually invincible.
Of course, you can select any other class, but the bonuses that you receive by playing as the Engineer or the Weapons Specialist classes, are much inferior to those offered by the Medic and the Tank.
