This page of the guide to Bioshock Infinite contains the game's complete system requirements. The requirements presented here concern the remasted version of BioShock: The Collection, released for PC, PS4, and XONE. Below, we have included the full hardware requirements for the PC version and additional information about console editions.
Attention! if you play on PC and have the original Bioshock Infinite installed, it will automatically update to the latest version. This also means the game's hardware requirements increase.
Unfortunately, upgrading to the remastered version is not possible on PS3, nor X360. You can only purchase BioShock: The Collection for PS4 or on XONE.

- RAM: 4 GB
- Graphics card: compatible with Direct X 11 (AMD Radeon HD 7770 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or better)
- Operating system: Windows 7, Windows 10 64-bit
- Disk space: 70 GB (20 GB for Bioshock Infinite and 25 GB for BioShock and BioShock 2 each)
Recommended system requirements for BioShock Infinite on PC (BioShock: The Collection remaster)
- Processor: 3 GHz Quad-core
- RAM: 8 GB
- GPU: 2 GB of memory (ATI Radeon HD 7970 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or better)
- Operating system: Windows 7, Windows 10 64-bit
- Storage space: 80 GB (30 GB for BioShock Infinite and 25 GB for BioShock and BioShock 2)
Hardware requirements for BioShock Infinite for PS4 (remaster of BioShock: The Collection)
- Console disk space: 32.36 GB - this is the size of BioShock Infinite
- PS + subscription: not required, BioShock Infinite does not have a multiplayer
If you have the digital version of BioShock: The Collection, you can only install BioShock Infinite. You also don't need to install Bioshock 1, nor Bioshock 2, and you can hence save almost 29 GB of space on the console's HDD.
If you only want to install Bioshock Infinite, go to your account's library and find the game as on the image above.
Additional settings in BioShock Infinite for PS4 (BioShock: The Collection remaster)
Additional settings can be found in the Graphics and Gameplay menus shown in the images above. They are mostly related to the user interface (HUD). The most important options are:
- Brightness Settings - Change the brightness settings.
- Art Subtitles - You can enable displaying captions for found objects. You can also enable "general" subtitles in the Audio tab.
- Enemy Health Bars - You can decide whether you want to see health bars above enemies' heads or not.
- Highlight Searchable Objects - Choose whether you want to have interactive items glow or not.
- Highlight Important Objects - you can make important objects highlighted so they're more apparent against the background.
- Floating Combat Text - you can leave the text that appears during fights or disable it for better immersion.
- Adaptive Training - you can leave tutorials enabled or turn them off.
