The rarest materials needed for equipment upgrades in Banishers Ghosts of New Eden are Nest Silts, Elite Gems, and Scourge Accretions. Haunted Grounds are their main sources (with Nests (large group of lesser opponents), Elites, and Scourges as possible enemies), but you can get them by other means - the destinations of some of the treasure maps or via trade on Siridean island.

What are Endless Rituals?

1. Endless Rituals are a special variation of standard rituals. They can be performed in chosen Haunted Grounds, and the enemies encountered during them will be either Nests (large group of lesser opponents), Elites, or Scourges. Unlike normal Haunted Grounds, they aren't destroyed after a successful ritual has been performed. A completed endless ritual can be done again, leading to the same rewards, but at the same time, the Intensity (the difficulty level of the encounter) is increased and the special rule for the battle is also changed.
2. You will recognize a place suitable for an Endless Ritual thanks to the reddish hue of the screen when its location is approached, as well as the red outline around its icon on the world map.

How do Endless Rituals work?

1. The process of performing the ritual works the same - you need to spend the required ingredients, choose Make-Manifest option, and defeat all appearing enemies. You will receive the same rewards as you would for a normal ritual, but you'll be able to repeat it indefinitely. With each approach to an endless ritual, the special rule for the encounter will change, while enemies will be more difficult.
2. Fortunately, the amount of resources needed for the performing of the ritual will not be changed - you can always find them in the vicinity - if you run out of scavenging locations, remember that resting at a Shelter respawns all enemies and replenishes ingredient containers.
3. Each completion of a ritual fully replenishes your supply of Decoctions and the reward is always the same - a permanent +1 increase to all statistics and respective rare material. The game will deem a Haunting Ground complete after a single ritual, so you don't have to complete Endless Ritual 10 times in every case in order to reach 100% completion of the game.
4. Additionally, progressing with any Endless Ritual up to level 10 Intensity is rewarded with A Farmer's Life trophy.
