This page of the guide provides information and tips on hiring staff. We list the types of employees and suggest what to consider when selecting future staff.
Hiring employees
To hire employees, go to the Hire Staff section. A list of currently available people for employment will appear on the screen.
Select the appropriate tab with the type of employee. After clicking on the selected candidate, their profile will be displayed on the right. If the chosen person suits your needs, confirm the choice and drop the character model of the new employee in the place where you want them to work.
Types of employees
There are 3 types of employees in the game:
- Teachers - do classes for specific subjects, as well as individual sessions with students.
- Assistants - take care of libraries and also run food and beverage outlets on campus.
- Janitors - keep the campus tidy, repair damaged machinery and interior decorations.
Information about employees
Before hiring a candidate, you can learn some information information about them:
- Recruitment Fee - one-time expense for recruiting an employee.
- Skills - a list of the character's current skills. They usually relate to the profession they will be doing (e.g. teaching bonuses for a given subject in the case of teachers). Skills can be improved and acquired through employee training. It is best to choose people with already developed abilities, but their salary will be higher.
- References - here you will find additional information on the employee's behavior, e.g. tendency to litter or feeling hungry more often.
In the Personnel Management tab, you can get even more information on people you have already hired. On the employee's card you will find the following sections:
- Staff Overview - general information about mood, characteristics, well-being and desires.
- Staff Happiness - this tab informs about the levels of satisfaction in various aspects of the employee's life.
- Skills and Traits - here you can view the bonuses that the employee has and their qualifications.
- Job Assingment - this section informs about the types of professional activities done by the employee.
- Staff Stats - various numerical data on completed tasks are displayed here.
