This page of our guide explains how and why you should change server channels.

While playing ToF you'll often notice messages on the chat, such as "World Boss Robarg on CH 10". These can refer to bosses which are very difficult to take on alone. Heading to boss's dwelling, you may notice they're nowhere to be found. Why is that? This is most likely because the boss has been killed on this server channel and needs to respawn.

This is why you should remember to specify your channel when making plans with friends or informing others about the world boss's presence! The same applies to when you want to play with a friend. If you're in the same location and yet can't see each other, this means you're not on the same channel.

To change channels you must unlock the cursor with the Alt key, then move it to where the yellow arrow pictured above points. Now simply click the blue text and enter the number of the channel you want to join. You can only change channels every 30 minutes.
