Armor is one of the most important elements of gear in ToF. It's therefore worth upgrading and enhancing whenever possible. This mode should help you do so. This page of our Tower of Fantasy guide describes Frontier Clash.
How to start the Frontier Clash mode?
To start the Frontier Clash mode you must first enter the Adventure menu (upper-right corner), then the Challenge tab. You'll learn more about the Adventure menu on a separate page. You must be at least level 39 to access the challenge.
You can play Frontier Clash up to 3 times in a row. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday you get another attempt, but you can only store up to three attempts at once.
Pressing the Go button displays the menu pictured above. On the left you'll see the available prizes. This mode lets you acquire more armor.
In the upper-right corner you'll see the buffs enemies have today. In the bottom-right corner there are two buttons you can use to start the mode - Find Team lets you manually find allies, while Go has the game start matchmaking for you, which is usually much quicker.
Gameplay
Once the mode begins, you or one of your allies must activate the mechanism to the left of the starting point.
This starts spawning enemies in the arena. They're divided into 15 waves. Every three waves you'll face a stronger, elite foe. You can even encounter simpler variations of World Bosses here. You'll receive a loot chest each time you defeat said elite foe. The more bosses you beat, the more crates you can open at the end.
There is a time limit of 8 minutes to beat all 15 waves. The counter is in the upper-right corner of the screen. That's also where you can see the buffs the enemies got and how many chests you've collected so far. It also displays the wave you're currently facing. On the left side you'll find the exit icon, which lets you quit the mode at any moment.
Reaching Level 50 unlocks Frontier Clash's hard mode. It tasks you with defeating five bosses, still under the 8-minute time limit.
