Various unpleasant situations and events have a direct impact on characters happiness and health. If character is tired or hungry, it's easy to help it with food or bed. It's more complicated with other states. If character is sick with the flu, you must give him some medicament, but if he is injured, there is a great possibility that he will die. There are different types of injuries - a small one, a few injuries or a deep wound. It's similar to hunger - if a character is hungry, he should eat a meal, if he is very hungry, then he should eat two meals. Your patient should be well treated and then go straight to bed. Otherwise his chances of survival are dropping drastically fast. It's definitely less dramatic with low happiness caused by, for example, killing someone. Guilt and depression might greatly reduce productivity and motivation of your character, and even make him leave your group or even commit a suicide by hanging. Characters with mental breakdown cannot be controlled by the player. To avoid such situations, you should not only invest in a comfortable bed, radio and guitar, but ensure some group therapy as well. Group members can comfort each other by using a specific action symbol.
