How to unlock the main quest?
Sidon of the Zora main quest will be unlocked after completing The Sludge Covered Statue. One of the quest markers of the Regional Phenomena main quest will lead you to Zora's Domain.
After talking with Yona and removing the strange substance from the statue, head to Mipha Court near Ploymus Mountain and talk to Sidon. Your next destination will be Toto Lake.
How to find Toto Lake?
Go meet Jiahto, who is investigating Toto Lake. The lake is located to the northwest of Ploymus Mountain.
Jiahto stands by the edge of the lake. After talking to him, you will unlock The Broken Slate main quest.

Jiahto will have a problem with reading the Slate at Toto Lake. You will find the missing piece near the cave. Clean the broken Slate of the strange substance using arrows with attached Chuchu Jelly or with the help of a Hydrant, a Zonai device. Once the broken part is clean, lift it with Ultrahand skill and insert it into the slate.
After Jiahto reads the inscription, you will unlock the next main quest - Clues to the Sky.

On the Slate near Toto Lake, you will discover a text about a mysterious island. Link needs to get the next information from King Dorephan.
Go to the throne room in Zora's Domain. There, you will find three children who know the secret hiding place of the king, but they will not want to reveal its location.
Circle the throne room quietly and sneak up behind the children to eavesdrop on their conversation. You will find out that the king's hideout is in Pristine Sanctum behind the waterfall.
Pristine Sanctum is near Lulu Lake, between Mipha Court and Mikau Lake. Go through the waterfall and jump down into the cave. During the conversation with the king, you will receive 5x King's Scales.
After talking to the king, return to Jiahto. You will receive hints from him about the land of the sky fish.
Go to Sidon at Mipha Court now and tell him what you have managed to discover. Look up and find the sky island with a waterfall. This is your next travel destination.
Watch the sky closely and wait for a piece of the island to fall to the ground. Jump onto the fragment of the island and use the Recall ability. When you are high enough, jump onto the fish-shaped island.
Stand at the western end of the island and find the formation of stones in the shape of a drop. Shoot an arrow from King's Scale in its direction.
Fight with Sludge Like
After completing the Clues to the Sky main quest, return to Sidon in Mipha Court. The conversation will be interrupted by a boss - Sludge Like. Before the battle begins, you will unlock the companion's ability - Sidon's Power of Water.
The monster uses Sludge attacks. You can quickly remove the substance by attaching the Hydrant to your shield, or use Sidon's ability. When Sidon puts a protective water bubble on you, swing the weapon in any direction to create a tidal wave.
Use water-based attacks to get rid of Sludge from the monster. For this, use arrows with attached Chuchu Jelly or Splash Fruit. When the monster is preparing to attack, it will expose its weak point. Aim at the purple part of his maw and when the monster falls to the ground, continue the attacks.
After winning the fight, a chest with Royal Claymore will fall out of the monster.
Restoring the Zora Armor
When you win the battle with Sludge Like, talk to Yona. Unlock the main quest Restoring the Zora Armor. Yona asked you to deliver her a fish called Ancient Arowana.
Go to Zora's Domain and talk to the blacksmith Dento. From him you will learn that the fish can be found near Mipha's statue.
Return to Mipha's Court and go up the stairs to Shatterback Point. There will be a fish swimming in the fountain with a statue.
You can try to catch the fish or shoot it with a bow. We recommend the second method. Take the Ancient Arowana and return to Yona. You will receive Zora Armor from her - this costume will allow you to swim up waterfalls.
Ancient Zora Waterworks
After putting on Zora Armor, meet Sidon at the green light in the middle of the lake. Jump into the whirlpool created by Sidon. You will reach Ancient Zora Waterworks.
Use the paraglider to fly to the other side. Break the boulder blocking the water. You can find several stones nearby that you can attach to your weapon using the Fuse skill. When the area gets flooded, you will be able to swim further.
Your next target will be the point shown in the above picture. Use the Ultrahand and place the board near the hole blocked by a large boulder. Stand on the board and break the boulder.
Another opening will be on the other side of the room. Build a bridge or platform out of planks and jump into the hole. Break the boulder and wait for the water level to rise.
The last hole is located in the northern part of the room. The path is blocked by a gate that cannot be opened.
Under the hole you will find a small tunnel. Jump off the rock and fly to the tunnel on the paraglider, Tulin's ability will help you get there.
Find the grate on the ceiling in the tunnel, from which water is coming out. Use Ascend to climb up and jump out next to the boulder.
Break the last boulder and wait for the water to pour out, then climb the ladder.
Grab the lever with the Ultrahand and open the gate.
Swim up to the stairs in the middle of the room and interact with the altar. Jump into the waterfall to get to the sky islands.
Wellspring Island
After landing on the islands, you will have to climb to their higher parts. Make use of the water bubbles that will carry you to the top.
You can also jump into waterfalls and swim up them.
On one of the islands, you will find a Device Dispenser and several Zonai devices ready for use. If you want to speed up the climb, combine the Wing with several Fans and a Steering Stick. Fly to the point marked on the map.
Talk to Sidon and jump into the waterfall. You will reach the Water Temple.
How to turn 4 faucets in the Water Temple?
After landing in the Water Temple and interacting with the altar, you will have to turn 4 faucets marked on the map.
Start from the left side of the islands. Defeat 3 Zonai robots patrolling the area.
Remove Sludge from the Zonai device that releases bubbles. Pour water on them from a hydrant or throw a Splash Fruit at them. Lift the orb with Ultrahand skill and transport it in a bubble to the higher part of the island.
At the faucet you will find a stone barrier that you must lift up to drain the water from the pool. Place the Hover Stone on the stone block, activate it and use the Ultrahand skill to lift the block upwards. The Zonai device should hold the block in place.
Put the orb in the hole at the bottom of the pool and wait for the gate to open by the faucet.
Approach the faucet and use Sidon's skills. When Sidon puts a water bubble on you, hit the faucet with a wave of water.
Go down to level B1. Ask Sidon to put on the water bubble and go through the fiery gate.
Raise the Hover Stone, place it on the switch next to the gate, and activate it. The fiery gate will be opened.
Fly to the other side of the room. Activate the Hover Stone lying next to the orb and place it above the spikes. Place the sphere on the Hover Stone and jump back across the platforms towards the gate.
Place the orb attached to the Hover Stone into the hole in the wall. Hover Stone must be constantly turned on, otherwise the orb will fall out of the hole.
When the gate opens, turn on the second faucet.
Stand in the middle part of the island and look up. On the east side, you will notice a Sludge blocking the waterfall. Shoot an arrow with Splash Fruit or Chuchu Jelly in its direction and jump into the waterfall.
Move the water bubble up, then rewind time on it using the Recall ability and jump into it. When the bubble takes you up, jump onto the island.
Attach two stone blocks to the water wheel, grab one of them and rotate the device. The water wheel will be activated, supplying energy to the nearby cable.
Insert a water bubble in the gap between the cables to transmit electricity. When the gate opens, turn the third faucet.
Time to activate the last faucet. Go to the eastern part of the islands.
Defeat the monster under the broken bridge and use the Ascend skill.
Stand on the highest Hover Stone and jump upwards. Quickly take out the bow to slow down time and shoot an arrow with Chuchu Jelly or Splash Fruit at the object spinning in the middle. When you get rid of the Sludge, you will notice an orange switch. Jump once again, take the bow out and shoot an arrow at the switch. When the water recedes, turn on the fourth faucet.
Fight with Mucktorok
When you turn on 4 faucets in the Water Temple, approach the altar and activate the device. After the cut-scene, a two-stage battle with Mucktorok will begin.
You can easily avoid all enemy attacks by jumping over the Sludge streams that the monster releases in your direction. Activate Sidon's protective water bubble, approach the shark, and release a wave of water towards it.
When Mucktorok takes on its true form, quickly shoot it down with a bow. Next, run up to your opponent and attack as many times as possible.
In the second stage of the fight, the monster will spit out an even larger amount of Sludge. Remove excess substance from the battlefield by throwing Splash Fruits or Chuchu Jellys at it. If the entire arena gets flooded with Sludge, it will be difficult for you to move around in it.
Attack the shark with water waves. This time when Mucktorok takes his true form, he will be running away very quickly. An arrow with a Keese Eyeball should be fast enough to hit him. When Mucktorok falls to the ground, run up to him and deliver the final blow.
For defeating the monster, you will receive an additional heart and unlock the Vow of Sidon, Sage of Water. From now on, you will be able to summon Sidon and use his ability.
