Last update: 11 September 2020
On this page of our guide, you will find a walkthrough for the second stage of the game. You'll find out what the characters' road home looks like.
Due to the game's genre, the walkthrough contains spoilers that reveal certain plot elements. If you continue reading the guide you agree to learn about some of the content, such as new locations or some characters.
First conversation
After greeting the sibling, you'll head to the car. This will give you the opportunity to have the first conversation you can have in the game.
Your sister will ask you what you will miss, your options are:
- The food;
- The people.
No matter what you choose, Tyler eventually decides that this place was like home to him.
Ferry
You'll have a few conversations with your sister during your journey on the ferry. You can pay attention to the surrounding homes or elements of the environment to keep the conversation going.
A new option will appear during the conversation. You can click Shift for new dialog options to show up. That way you can influence your relation with your sister and other people.
At some point in the conversation, you'll get a signet ring from your sister. It's a gift from Eddy. He is a police officer who took care of Alyson after her mother died. At the same time, however, he arrested Tyler when he was still a child.
You have to choose one of 3 answers:
- Fine;
- I can't accept this;
- I don't care.
If you choose the first option, you'll accept a gift from the police officer. You're not going to put it on your finger, just put it in your pocket. The last option, however, will upset your sister. She wants the two most important people in her life to be close and not fight. By turning down the gift, you're showing your bad attitude towards Eddy.
Your conversation is interrupted by a phone call to Alyson. That time can be spent exploring the boat. You can't see much out there. Focus on the pickup truck behind Alyson's car. There are several items on its back that will interest Tyler.
You can start a conversation with a man. But you don't have to do it if you don't want to. But if you want to meet new people, you can start a conversation in two ways:
- If you say so...
- You going hunting?
If you notice the man is a hunter right away, he will praise your good eye. That'll make him friendly towards you.
Continuing the conversation will bring more dialog options:
- Born and bred;
- Just visiting.
If you admit that you're visiting someone, he'll ask about who are you visiintg in that part of the country:
- My sister:
- Just passing through.
Eventually, the man will introduce himself to you. You can only give him your first name or your full name. That way you can get his attention and continue the discussion.
Remember, at any time you can just stop the dialog and walk away.
Take advantage of your free time to pay attention to the stickers on your sister's car.
When Alyson's done talking, you can return to her. If you want to get off the ferry, just get in the car. That way you'll move on to the next part of the game.
