Automats
During this task, you will encounter Prototypes and Rams. In addition, you will face a Frost Acolyte (more about it on the Acolytes page). You will also encounter a Musketeer (you can read about this enemy here: Guards) and a Phoenix (you can learn about this enemy on this page: Hunters). In addition, a Bassoonist (more about it here: Musicians) and a Master Chef (information about it can be found here: Cooks) will stand in your way. You will also have your first encounter with a Watchmaker (read more about it here: Arachnids).
Les Invalides
When you reach Les Invalides, turn left through the gate from the square where you are. Follow the road along the river.
At the end of the path, before the barricade, turn left through the gate. You will end up in a small park. It is guarded by a Lightning Ram, and behind it there is a Musketeer on an elevation.
There is a gate in front of the stairs leading to the building. You can open it with the help of The Alchemist's Ram. Walk through it. Keep walking along the path.
Go right ahead. You will encounter a Phoenix. Further on, the road turns left. Follow it all the way to the gate. You will reach an intersection - turn left. In the square, activate a Vestal.
You can now open the golden gate. This is part of a side quest - Origins. You can read more about it on a separate page of the guide.
To continue the main quest, you must go to the alley on the right. There, pull yourself up using the Bishop's Hook to the top of the building. Cross the room and head to the balcony.
From it, jump using Momentum Selenita to the opposite platform. There is a large square on the other side of the wall. You will encounter two Bassoonists there.
You can use the mechanism to unlock the golden gate - it's a shortcut.
Climb the stairs. There you will encounter a Master Chef and a Watchmaker. There is also a Bassoonist in the area. Turn right now. There are chests under the fence. Climb over them and jump to the other side of the fence.
Follow the path. Take the Echoe, which is located near the destroyed carriage. Then turn right into the square.
At its end, use the Bishop's Hook and pull yourself up to the building. Go through the room and jump out on the other side. The street is guarded by a Statuary Ram. There is also a Dextral prototype and a Watchmaker in the area.
Eglise Sainte-Marie
Follow the road and climb the stairs. Right next to them is a Vestal. However, you cannot unlock it. You must first defeat the mini-boss Unstable Frost Acolyte. You can read more about it on a separate page of the guide.
After dealing with the enemy, activate the respawn point. Go now to the main entrance to the church. At the top of the stairs is another Echoe.
Now go down the stairs opposite the Vestal. Turning right will bring you closer to completing the main task. Going to the left will lead Aegis to the part needed to upgrade the Burette.
If you want to upgrade the Burette, don't immediately pull yourself up to the balcony after descending the stairs. Instead, turn left. The street there is guarded by a Statuary Ram. In a side alley is a chest that contains the part you are looking for. Be careful, because it is well hidden. There is also a shortcut to the church nearby.
After turning right, use the Bishop's Hook and pull yourself up to the balcony. Then jump to the next one using the Momentum Selenite.
Jump down to the square. There is an Acolyte and two Heavy Prototypes. Go through the tunnel now.
You will see two passages. The gate on the right is a shortcut that you can unlock. To continue the quest, destroy the wall on the left side with the Alchemist's Ram. Then go through the breach and pull yourself up with the Bishop's Hook to the balcony of the building behind it.
Cross the room and jump to the adjacent balcony. Go to the other side of the building and jump down to the street below. It is patrolled by a Falcon.
Now climb to the top of the stairs above the river. Jump and use the Selenite Momentum to get to the other side. Remember, if you miss, you will die in the water.
Once you are on the other side of the river, enter the building. You will reach a square. The last Echoe is in the left corner. After collecting it, pull up to the hole opposite the entrance. Cross the room and jump down. You will trigger a cut-scene. Time for a boss fight. You can learn more about it on a separate page - The Treasurer of Les Invalides Titan.
After defeating the boss, a conversation with Necker will begin. Talk about all topics. If you decide to take the treasurer to the monastery, the game will automatically take you there.
