Steelrising: Best beginner class - which one?
When creating a new character in Steelrising, you will be able to decide on one of 4 character classes. Check out which one is recommended for beginners.

Soldier
Soldier is probably the single most beginner-friendly class in Steelrising. You start the game equipped with a halberd, which deals considerable damage and has a very long range. Its heavy attacks can knock down weaker enemies, letting you eliminate them easily.
When playing as a Soldier, we recommend investing Anima essence into:
- Power,
- Vigour,
- Durability.
Dancer
Dancer is yet another beginner-friendly class. She's agile, mobile, and can chain attacks with her bladed fans into quick and deadly combos. This seemingly weak weapon lets you block enemy attacks as well, letting you survive for much longer.
When playing Steelrising as a Dancer, we recommend investing Anima essence into:
- Agility,
- Vigour,
- Durability.
