Escaping the hunter | Walkthrough Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter Walkthrough
Last update: 10 June 2016
Run ahead after the sequence starts. You must hide behind obstacles and escape the hunter. Remember that your running meter is limited - you can't run without any stops. In addition to that, if you run with no cover for too long, you will be an easy target and Holmes might die. The bullets are flying in straight line and Sherlock can avoid them if he suddenly moves to the side.
When the chase starts, run forward and hide behind trees and rocks. If you fall into a trap, you can press the action button to set yourself free. When you must decide in which direction to run, run forward - the second path will lead to the death of the main character.
After some time you will have to make another decision - this time turn right. Holmes will fall on a ledge below. Walk towards the corpse and press on the face and clothes. Sadly, you won't have time to perform analysis - the hunter will return and start chasing you again. Act like before. Turn left when selecting the first path.
You will reach swamps - when you are hidden, you can use detective sense to determine which path is safe. Use it to avoid drowning and keep escaping the hunter. At some point you will manage to escape from the swamps, but it won't be the end of the chase. Keep running ahead until you reach a tree that can be used as a bridge to the other side. There you will find another dead man. Pick up the handkerchief with the Harrington writing and examine the face of the corpse.
Run ahead. Soon you will reach a wooden cabin. Walk towards the table and examine the photography. Then take the bandage and treat your wound. Hide in the closet when you hear some footsteps. Soon your enemy will appear together with Lord Marsh.
