Walk under the window and towards the item thrown into the room. Disassemble the top - however, don't open it fully. Instead, analyze it. Then move the cylinder and take the bomb from inside. Start disarming the bomb - you have two minutes for that. The above picture shows how to do it safely. Once all is done, Wiggins will come with jacket of the person who threw the bomb. The boy will also tell you about the man responsible - you will obtain a piece of evidence, description of attacker. Check the jacket, inside you will find knife and poem.
Walk towards your archive. In the encyclopedia, in history section, find and press Green Dragon Tavern. You will obtain document and piece of evidence with that name. The Sherlock will go to sleep. At the morning go the living room and talk to Sherlock's daughter. Then enter the balcony in your room and jump to Alice's room.
You must open her door with the lockpick. Enter inside and walk towards the sewing machine. Examine the object and take letter to seamstress from the desk. Then walk towards the table with the box, pick cylinder 821 and open the chest.
You must set the labyrinth in such way that the passage to the other side is open. Inside you will find: old letter from Alice's Aunt, letter from Alice's friend, notes and key. Then walk towards the round table, pick up the book, turn it around and read the note. Pick up the nearby vial, pull the plug from it, smell it and taste it. Go deeper into the apartment and walk towards the desk on the left. Take reply to Ms. Alice De'Bouvier and then analyze the photography, the book and the note. Go downstairs and use the key to enter the door on the right side.
You will find yourself in a macabre room. Walk towards the table with the gramophone and activate the nearby cylinder. Then use the one obtained previously. Press the two photos, it will add a piece of evidence - William Hamilton - to the journal. Open the right drawer, inside it you will find newspaper. Once all is done, information about Alice Floella Hamilton will appear in the journal and you will be able to go back to your apartment through the same way you got here. Once back, walk towards the library. In the newspaper section select date 1880 and then information about William's Hamilton death - you will obtain a document.
Now go to your room, disguise yourself as a bandit and characterize your face so that no one recognizes you. Then go to the Green Dragon tavern.
