Mission 12 - Myogi Pass | Walkthrough Shadow Tactics Guide

Now you are about to enter the camp of the Shogun. Your entire team, plus the hostage whom you have to carry, starts at the bottom of the mountain (1). You can get up there very easily, using the wagon (2), which goes first to the temple and then to shogun's tent (3). There are two places where you can get a disguise for Aiko (4). Instead of using wagons, you can stun some of the guards using Takuma's abilities (5).

The easiest and quickest way is to use the wagon for transport. First, clear the path for your people. Send one of them to the right, and let another use footprints to lure the samurai toward the boxes. When he is close, take a shot, and use the other character to finish him off. There are only two opponents left to go - one will soon start searching the missing samurai. Once you handle them, walk around the large tent and eliminate the patrolling guard, when he is behind the boxes. Take out the straw hat any way you like. Place your entire team in the left corner and make way for them by cutting a hole in the cloth. Let Aiko or Yuki carry the body in order to remain hidden. Throw a stone so to distract the guards by the wagon, which is going to take you to the temple. Once there, you just need to get off and wait for another wagon. This one, in turn, will take you right to the shogun's tent.

Now, you just need to follow through a neat plan in order to eliminate everyone around in a both quiet and decisive way. In the shadow mode, mark two ordinary opponents for taking a shot. Place Yuki and Aiko on the left from the shogun's tent or downwards from the fire. Use a shuriken to eliminate the straw hat next to the entrance. When the patrol is making a spin around the fire, throw a stun grenade, so to get them and the straw hat at the same time. Now, when two ordinary soldiers start coming to check the commotion, let Hayato jump out from his cover and throw a shuriken at the straw hat. When the two incoming opponents get near the fire, launch the shadow mode action to eliminate them. Now just kill off the two stunned opponents and gather your group in the shogun's tent.

Badges and achievements

Do not drop Masaru. You can use a little trick so that Hayato won't be blocked throughout the whole mission. When the dialog ends you will start the mission with Hayato as your selected character, going to pick up Masaru. Start clicking the right mouse button (canceling the current action). Your shinobi should stop and he won't pick up the tied up body. Now, you can clear the path to Shogun and then go back for the body. Also, you can accomplish another task - use the sleeping potion on guards. Because of that you won't have to deal with two samurais standing in front of the main entrance to Shogun's camp. You can go around them.

Use the wagons. It is the shortest way to complete this mission. You need to get to the first wagon, leave it, wait for the second one and leave it near Shogun's tent. There is a high temple near the place where you wait for the second wagon. If you climb it and reach the top you will complete the achievement in which you have to climb the highest place in the pass.
