In Chapter 4 of Return to Monkey Island, you have to collect 5 golden keys and one of them is in possession of Old Mrs. Smith's Golden Key. In our walkthrough, we show who has the information regarding the key, and how to retrieve it from the Judge from the courthouse on Brrr Muda.
Meeting with Locke Smith
Old Mrs. Smith had one of the golden keys, and you must find out what happened to it after her demise.
Take a trip to Locke Smith's workshop - as a reminder, you can find it on Melee Island's High Street. During the conversation, ask about Old Mrs. Smith and the golden key she possesed. Locke Smith will give you Locke Smith's Probate Order .
Acquire the Old Mrs. Smith's Golden Key
You have to travel to Brrr Muda Island. After reaching the island, stay in town and travel the Courthouse.
If this is your first visit to the northern part of the archipelago, you will be stopped at the 19th Parallel during your first attempt to reach Brrr Muda Island. You'll be left with a puzzle which requires you to fill a Customs Form and having limes (this puzzle is explained in Obtaining 5 keys to the safe page of our guide).
Select the document you received from Locke Smith (Locke Smith's Probate Order) from the inventory and show it to the judge. You will receive the Golden Key right away - this one is the easiest to obtain.
