How to get and spend Xerxes coins?
Xerxes coins are found in different locations all over the world of treacherous Mount Qaf. Most of the time, they are encountered in final moments of more difficult platforming sections. Nevertheless, simple walking over a coin doesn't mean its added to your inventory yet. For it to be collected, you need to carry it all the way to a flat, stable surface. From time to time, Xerxes coins are also obtained as a reward for completing quests.
The acquired coins can be spent on equipment upgrades. Some upgrades, aside from a required number of Time Crystals, require you to spend one or a few Xerxes coins.
Additionally, in The Depths, you can encounter a trader called The Scrapper. This unique vendor only accepts this old currency, so if you want something from his inventory, you'll need to prepare some coins.
