How does fast travel work?
You unlock access to fast travel in The Lost Crown after some time. Although you will see the first altar for teleporting to another part of the map in the starting main hub, you will only be able to activate it later, when you find another structure of this type.
Fast travel checkpoints take the form of winged altars with griffin heads. Activating one of them will permanently mark the object on your map. When interacting with one, you will be asked to choose another altar from the list. After a short animation, Sargon will be transported to a new checkpoint.
You can only use fast travel at altars. Therefore, it is impossible to instantly teleport from any place on the map.
