The map of the new version of Prince of Persia is filled to the brim with collectibles, secrets, and hidden passages. Some of them will certainly force the players to use their brain cells. On this page of the guide, we will provide you with information that will help you solve the puzzle with the statues in the forest.
How to solve the puzzle with the forest statues?
The puzzle in the Soma Tree region is part of a larger side quest you can do for the Upper City Architect. The room with the puzzle can be found east of the fast travel point. However, in order to complete the puzzle, you will need to defeat the boss found in this area - Kiana, Forest Queen. After defeating her, you will receive the Dimension Claw ability, which will be essential.
Upon arrival, you can familiarize yourself with the clues written on the stone tablet. The enigmatic text refers to the correct arrangement and orientation of stone statues. However, to start rearranging them, you will need to find two missing figures.
The first one is located above the main room. Use the shaft on the left to jump to the upper floor, where you will quickly find a large, red statue. Use Dimension Claw to hide it in your pocket dimension and return to the main room. Summon the stored statue and leave it with the other monuments.
The smaller, yellow statue can be found below the main chamber. Go down the wooden platforms and use the Dimension Claw again on the stone figure.
If you have already unlocked the double jump, you can return to the room with the puzzle the same way you came. If you don't have this skill yet, approach the wooden platform from below and aim upwards to "summon" the statue above you. Head left where you will find a shaft leading one floor up. This is necessary because the purple glow protecting the exit from the corridor removes and resets the position of all items held by Sargon in the pocket dimension. Upon reaching the top, go back for the statue waiting half a floor below, collect it and deliver to the main chamber.
Now your task is just to arrange the statues in the correct order and orientation. You can manipulate them by picking them up, summoning them by standing at the pedestal, and interacting with it to change direction. The correct combination looks as follows:
- Left pedestal - the large red statue facing right;
- Middle pedestal - medium yellow statue facing right;
- Right pedestal - the small statue facing left (be careful not to confuse the real painted figure with its unpainted stone copy).
When you correctly set the statues, a short animation will play. You get a treasure chest, and the puzzle will be considered solved.
