The Metroidvania formula of the latest installment of Prince of Persia assumes that as the plot progresses, the player will gain access to new skills, thanks to which they will be able to reach previously inaccessible locations. One of the fundamental mechanics for the genre is the ability to double jump. On this page we will tell you at what stage of the game and under what circumstances Sargon will receive this power.

When and where do I get a double jump?
What may come as a surprise to many players of The Lost Crown is the fact that the double jump ability, popular in the genre, is unlocked quite late in the game. After several hours in, you will have to face a certain boss - a powerful snake named Azhdaha. The reward for defeating the giant opponent will be the Gravity Wings ability, which allows you to perform an extra jump in the air.
It is worth noting that fighting Azhdaha and obtaining the double jump are part of the main plot. Before unlocking the key elements of the story, getting into the Pit of the Eternal Sand where the snake is will simply be impossible. Because of that, for a large part of the game, the main tool increasing the hero's mobility will be dash.
How to use a double jump?
After defeating the boss and obtaining double jump, you can use the new skill by simply pressing the jump button while in the air. What's worth noting is that, similarly to dash, you can control the flight trajectory to some extent. Double jump and dash together significantly improve the mobility of your hero.
