Elite Four | Walkthrough Pokemon X/Y Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Finally! All of the Kalos Badges are Yours. Congratulations. Now the hard part begins! Head west from Snowbelle and into the passage. Now You will be able to enter the Victory Road, where the game's strongest trainers reside. Keep moving forward, and enter the cave. Keep heading north, and then surf on the water to the west. Keep going west, then south and exit the cave. Continue until You see stepping stones. Go north-west as before. From here one You just have to keep going north-west and battle trainer after trainer. Once You approach a rock, us the Strength HM as always. Keep going forward until You reach a area with a waterfall. Surf into the cave left from it, then go forward more, and You'll arrive in Victory Road.
Now, it's nearly impossible for me to recommend You pokemon at this point. And as of now, without some serious grinding, You won't be able to survive the upcoming battles. However, If You've kept Your line-up diverse, and trained hard You might just stand a chance. The Elite Four and The Pokemon champion are the strongest enemies You encounter in the games. And You have to defeat them one after another. Even If You have an edge, they will constantly use Potions and Restore items, and surprisingly often land critical hits. Don't worry though. Take Your A-Team (they should be around level 65-75) buy at least 20 PP UP's, Revive's and Hyper Potions. You're going to need them. Once You enter the Four's chambers there is no going back.
To the north-east lies the Blazing Chamber where the Fire type champion awaits. Here, rely on a strong Water type and back up with a Rock/ Ground. Don't stop with the Water attacks, and quickly revive Your Water Type after its K.O'ed (and kill time with a Rock/Ground type). After a while, the battle should be Yours.
North-west is the Steel type domain. The Steel type might be frightening at first. But with Ground and Fire types You may have a chance. Once again, land effective attacks and heal while the Rock/ Ground type is out. Pretty much the same strategy
South-west lies the chamber of the Dragon Type Elite. This battle should be the easiest with just Xerneas You've caught while defeating Team Flare. If not, only other Dragons can do some damage (and vice versa). Land hits, retreat, heal, get Your monster back out there. This might prove tiresome, but after some time, the enemies will give in.
The South-east door leads to a water type encounter. Just use the grass Pokemon. If however You have none, use and Electric or a Steel type.
After each battle heal, and get Your squad back to 100%. Upon defeating every Elite, head up, to the battle with the Champion. This should be Your hardest battle, and if You got this far, You are ready. On purpose I didn't tell You which monsters to catch, because, this is YOUR team. If You chose different starter types, trained hard, and kept in mind that "diversity is key", You should do it. However, I will list some tips on getting down certain monsters.
First up is Hawlucha. Fire and Electricity should do the Trick. The next monster is Tyrrantrum. For a Rock/Dragon hybrid I recommend Water... or another Dragon! Aurorus might be stronger, and surprisingly resistant (rock/ice). Try grass or dragon moves. Gourgeist doesn't need any instructions, light him up with Fire. The last to, Goodura (dragon) and Gardevoir (psychic/fairy) are the strongest You encounter. For the last one go with ghost and dark moves. Fire also helps. As of Goodura - Dragon vs Dragon seems to be the best way out. After the battle, You will be crowned the Kalos region champion. This is the end.
