Mastery in PUBG PUBG Guide and Tips
Last update: 19 August 2019
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds keeps records of all your kills and the number of wounded players with specific weapon types. The stats determine your mastery weapon level. The following chapter contains detailed information about this gameplay mechanic.
Every accurate shot done during a match is recorded by the game and converted into experience points the number of which is determined by a few factors. Among them, the game counts the number of damage, whether a shot resulted in death or headshots. After a match ends, you will see information about stats for a given weapon.
Once you reach a new level, the game will unlock a reward. They are purely cosmetic and have no impact on the weapon's stats. There are two types of rewards:
- Charms - small keychain-like cosmetics that can be attached to your weapon's barrel. You get a new charm every 5 levels.
- Mastery emblems - symbols appearing on the weapons list. You get a new one every 10 levels.
The game also features medals. The table below contains the complete list.
