How to play on Miramar in PUBG? PUBG Guide and Tips
Last update: 01 August 2019
Miramar is the second map available in Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. It was added in the version 1.0 and it offers experience that differs significantly from the Erangel (the first island) - players have access to additional weapons and vehicles. Also, the map's structure forces players to change their tactics completely.
Starting a match that takes place on this island is rather problematic - the game doesn't have any options that would allow you to search games that take place only on Miramar. Also, most of the players can't create their own servers. Instead, you have to open a regular matchmaking and wait for your character to join a game. When you join, the game picks a map for that match - this means that you can play on either Miramar or on the "old" Erangel. It should be also mentioned that players have a bigger chance to be able to play on the new island.
Remember about the following things:
- Don't leave a match if you didn't join a game that takes place on Miramar. You are spoiling others' fun because less players will be dropped on the map. In extreme cases, when too much players leave a match, this can lower the game's fun factor significantly.
- You can play on Miramar in any of the game modes - whether you play solo, duo or in a 4-man squad; third or first-person perspective. The rules are always the same - you get a chance to play on either Erangel or Miramar.
