No Rest for the Wicked offers players free exploration of a quite large and detailed world full of dangers. In the early access version, players will have the opportunity to explore the surroundings of the city of Sacrament as well as the capital itself. In the upcoming updates, in addition to new mechanics and improvements, the game is also expected to get more areas to explore. The above interactive map will help you find all interesting objects in the game world.
Whisper
Glowing blue objects that serve as checkpoints in No Rest for the Wicked. After death, your hero will return to the last visited Whisper. They also serve as fast travel points, about which you can read more on this page.
Vendor
Merchants and specialists offering various services. Apart from traders, you will also encounter NPCs who can:
- Improve and repair equipment;
- Enchant weapons and armors;
- Arrange and expand buildings.
Most service providers are located in Sacrament - the capital of Isola Sacra island.
Fire Pit
Bonfires scattered throughout the game, where your hero will be able to prepare meals from the collected ingredients. It's worth visiting them, as the prepared dishes have much stronger effects than raw products.
Boss
The strongest and most dangerous enemies in the game. Clashes with them will be a real challenge and are often the culmination of a certain plot thread.
Chest
Chests filled with randomly generated loot are hidden in various corners of the map. Every now and then it's worth getting off the beaten track and look around for them.
From our experience, it turns out that chests can sometimes slightly change their position in the generated worlds. However, these changes are often quite minor (a difference of a few meters), while other locations are very frequently repeated. The markers presented on our map will therefore still prove to be helpful during exploration.
