What are Kodama's blessings in NiOh 2? NiOh 2 guide, walkthrough
Last update: 25 March 2020
During the game, you will encounter little green creatures called Kodama. With them, you can get various bonuses that will make your game easier. The following page of the NiOh 2 guide contains important information related to this aspect of gameplay.
Kodama - basics
You will encounter Kodama when completing consecutive missions. These small green creatures are mostly hidden and difficult to spot at first glance. They're usually in places that you don't normally look at. Once you've located them, you can send them back to the nearest Chram. That way you'll be able to use their help.
In the game world you will find five different types of Kodama. You can differentiate them by the color of the hat they wear. Each offers a different type of support. A total of 150 Kodams can be found in the game. How many creatures you will find in a given stage will be indicated by the mission panel.
Kodama Blessings
There are five different types of blessings in the game. You can switch between them at the shrine. Any change like this will cost you gold. While this may be problematic in the early stages of the game, it will not be an obstacle later on.
Note: Samurai and Yamabushi blessings do not grant the same benefits.
