Speed Points | Getting promoted in the campaign mode NfS: Most Wanted Guide

Everything you need to know about the progress you make, milestones, the amount of Speed Points that you have gathered and cars, can be found I your profile. Getting each Milestone is rewarded with a bonus of Speed Points. Similarly, each activity aiming at getting a Milestone, is also rewarded with Speed Points.
Speed Points
Speed Points in Most Wanted are a kind of experience points. Apart from pure fun that you get while collecting them, they are necessary for unlocking next races on the Most Wanted list. As long as you do not obtain Speed Points in the right amounts, the races will not show on your in-game map so, it won't be possible to get the fastest cars in the game right away. As a matter of fact, this is the only form of progress in the game because all of the other things are optional.

How to win Speed Points? Below, there is a list of the most common activities that the points are awarded for:
- Participation in contests.
- Winning contests.
- Winning cars from the Most Wanted list.
- Finding Jack Spots.
- The first drive of a newly found car.
- Smashing billboards.
- Smashing security gates.
- Activating traffic enforcement cameras.
- Eliminating opponents during races.
- Avoiding crashes during races.
- Beating records.
- Being stopped by the police .
- Escaping pursuits .
- Smashing police cars.
- Winning Milestones.
The most profitable, and the most time-consuming at the same time, are Milestones. A full list of Milestones is available in the in-game menu in the PROFILE tab. There are a whole lot of them and some of them are really demanding. Every activity that can be performed in the game, has its Milestone that is worth a given amount of points that is supplied in its description.
