Ambush | Event types NfS: Most Wanted Guide

Ambush is an event that consists in avoiding police pursuit in a given time. Your target time for the first, second and third place is displayed before the event actually starts and during the event, in the upper-left corner of the screen. Your current time is displayed in the form of a "flag" on the left side of your car. The color of the stripe next to your car (gold, silver, brown or red) signifies your position for a given moment. If the stripe turns red, this means you may restart the event because you failed to get a podium-awarding time.
