Unlike the previous installments of NFS, Most Wanted (2012) offers nearly all of the cars in the game right from the beginning. 31 (or 32 if you are using a mobile version of the game) cars are hidden in various spots throughout the map. Id order to drive them, it is enough to pilfer them at the right moment.

Switch points (or Jack Spots) are easily identifiable by a large brand logo hovering over the car. Finding new cars is also facilitated by the fact that cars have their headlights on (which is especially useful at night) and onboard car radios. The Fairhaven city consists of many levels so, cars can be parked not only at the streets, but also e.g. on top levels of multi-storey parking lots, etc. Even if you have problems locating a given car, in spite of the map given above, try and think three dimensionally and set your ears. The best idea is to turn off the in-game music, drive slowly, so as not to make a lot of noise, The car radios, on the cars to find, are audible from quite a distance so, if you are using high quality headphones, or a 5.1 sound system, music will be your guide.

The only car that cannot be found on the map, in the single player mode, is Ford Focus ST, which is only available in the multiplayer mode, over the internet. In order to unlock it, you need to win 5 online races using one of the available cars of that make. In the single player mode, this car can only be seen in billboards throughout the city.

Another unique car is the Hummer H1 Alpha. Unfortunately, the only ones that will have the pleasure of driving this beast, is mobile version users. The only hope for future, is that it is included in a DLC for PC and console versions.

Apart from the generally available cars there are also 10 exotic cars to be acquired in the game. In order to win them, you need to go up the Most Wanted list by winning races with 10 other contestants to this title.

Winning the Most Wanted race is not everything that you need to do in order to win the opponent's car. After you finish a race, another stage begins, which is the elimination round. As the name itself suggests, you need to eliminate your opponent by causing a crash, and thus, immobilizing his car. As soon as you achieve it, the car will appear in three Jack Spots around the city, and it will be available on the Easy Drive menu. If you lose your opponent during the elimination round, do not worry. You can always take the whole race over again. Apart from that, your opponent will be cruising around the city until you finally eliminate him. You can run into him even after 15 minutes while taking a joyride.
