Security gates are unique collectibles. The gates that you destroyed do not appear on your map, so you need to remember which ones you actually destroyed. Smashed gates do not repair themselves and it is the only hint, beside the map. There are 135 security gates in total. Fortunately, they are located quite close to each other, in a few spots around the city so, you shouldn't experience any problems finding them if only you use the map included above.
