New objective: Eliminate hostiles in the first village without taking any collateral damage.

New objective: Find and destroy any weapon caches in the village.

The difficulty of the next task is that you can accidentally kill innocent civilians, and thus, not get the achievement that's associated with avoiding the civilian casualties. Yet, some civilians, instead of running away, will draw their weapons and automatically become your enemies. These, of course, are no longer civilians, so you can kill them. But still, it's better not to "create" any new opponents because we have a sniper at our disposal. Place him behind the stone in [14] exactly in the same way as it can be seen in the picture below. From here, you won't have any problem with killing three enemies behind the fence in [15] (aim at their heads, over the fence), as well as several in the area of [16] who will run out to see what is going on. Try to kill the second group as soon as possible, because after a while the enemies will start returning to their previous positions.

The reason why it's better not to involve the whole group of your men will become clear in a moment. Some bullets, including sniper rifles, pierce the walls of huts and some fences, which means you could accidentally kill civilians in the buildings. But it works both ways, and in this way, you can also the opponents. But, in order to be able to see enemies in all buildings, at least one of your men must get "inside" on of them (then, the roofs will "disappear"). So, send any of your men to one of the bunkers and leave him there until the end of the mission. After that, remove an opponent in a hut in [17] and others in the area (if there are any) by using the sniper. You can try to lure them with shooting, but if no one is running towards you, leave the current position. Move in such as way as to be able to take out a solitary enemy in the middle of a village in [18].

Continue finding and eliminating enemies. Move the sniper to [19], and once he's there, kill three opponents. Two of them are in the huts in [20] (kill the first by shooting through the window, the second through the wall - it's shown in the picture below). The third is standing under a tree in [21]. However, after hearing the shots, the last one might hide, so follow his movements and use the map to locate him. Look for other enemies in the area of [17] and kill (again by shooting through the walls) as many as possible. Then, encircle the village and go to [22].

In [23] there's the first weapon cache, but first, you have to take care of four enemy soldiers in [24]. Killing two who are standing outdoors will be easy, just choose a proper shooting position. Kill the third enemy soldier who's in the hut by shooting through the wall. To eliminate the fourth, lure him with a few shots, let him run away and hide behind the fence. Then, kill him by shooting through the fence. Watch out for civilians, at least one of them has a gun so don't forget to kill him once he reveals himself. Search the weapon cache in [23], take the ammo for the sniper, then walk away and throw a grenade at the pile of boxes. Keep a safe distance!

Place the sniper in the area of [25], in such a way as to be able to kill two enemies by the barrels in [26]. Save your game and take their place. Lean out, kill the first of the two soldiers in [27] and run away. When the enemies have finished searching, strike again and kill the other. Then, hide your sniper near the wall of the hut in [26], from where you should mange to hit three enemies in [28] - kill them one by one. Get back on the road and stand at the crossroads in [29], move near the fence, so the heavy machinegun in [31] won't be able to hit you. From this position end the lives of two opponents in [30] - the one standing next to the fence and another in the hut (there are visible in the picture below, the first is dead). Finally, throw a grenade in the heavy machinegun crew in [31]. The explosion will kill two soldiers and the rest should escape. If it doesn't happen, keep killing them until they retreat. After that, the civilians will no longer be a threat and you can destroy the second weapon cache. It's located in one of the huts in [20]. Destroy it with an explosive charge or a grenade and go to the second village.

New objective: The Vietnamese officer should not leave the village.

After a while, you'll get this mission objective and six minutes to execute it. It's almost too much time, as it's enough to place the sniper in [32] and, using the break in the fence, to shoot the general standing in [33] (he's distinguished from the others - he actually has a name, and he can be seen in the picture below). If you can reach your target, move the sniper a few feet to the left or right, in the end, you should be able to kill the general. After completing this task, quickly hide the sniper behind a boulder in [34] and wait until the enemy soldiers take new positions. From behind a boulder you can remove the three guards standing at the other side of the lake in [35] with no trouble.

New objective: Eliminate the Vietcongs in the second village.

Now, you have to set an ambush for the convoy, which will soon depart. Place all your men behind a boulder in [36], change their firing mode to "Fire at will", while in [37] place the soldier with a grenade launcher (Carl Dillan) and patiently wait for the convoy (you can speed up the game). As soon as the trucks begins to leave the village and approach the trap, save the game. Your task is to destroy as many trucks as you can with one shot, especially the first and the last one, since they are loaded with enemy soldiers. After the explosion of the first truck, save your game and try to take out the rest of vehicles. Your colleagues in [36] should support you with fire and kill those enemies who managed to get out the trucks before the explosions. Search for survivors and finish them off using the wrecks as covers.

Look at the map in this guide - virtually all the enemies to the right of the border formed by [38] and [39] will not move from their positions, even if they notice the deaths of their comrades. That's why, killing them will be as easy as pie. Place the sniper in the area of [40] and try to remove the first three enemies at the fork, standing in [38]. Then, take care of the rest, changing the position of the sniper if you can't kill anyone from the current location. If some enemies run to the forest looking for your sniper, retreat and wait (you can speed up the game), until they return to their previous positions. Unfortunately, if you try to kill any other enemies, you will be raked with a heavy machinegun fire in [41], which can result in a rapid death of the sniper.

But, he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. After the area around the enemy helicopter has been cleared, send two men to the heavy machinegun in [31] and fold it (click on the appropriate icon in the actions panel in the lower right corner of the screen), and then bring it behind the fence in [42]. They opponents can't see you, but you see them, so you can shoot blindly, because the heavy machinegun ammunition will penetrate walls, wooden fences and huts. Start by killing those enemies who operate a heavy machinegun in [41] and watch out for the opponents who will try to come at you. You can even use the rest of your soldiers to protect your heavy machinegun. Well, it doesn't have unlimited ammo, but it should be enough to kill most of the enemies. The rest will run away, and you'll finish the mission successfully.
