Clear and Secure Pillbox - part 1 | Operation Neptune MoH: Airborne Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
This is going to be the final task for this shorter mission. It won't be too difficult, especially if you're going to take your time to explore the surroundings. You should also know that some of the corridors and passageways may be safe, but if you reload a save, you may encounter enemy soldiers there. As a result, you have to be ready for everything. You will also have to be very careful while securing both pillboxes, because you will encounter large groups there and you will have to be very quick in order to kill them without receiving any injuries.
Reaching your target:
The beach area seems like a large maze, however you shouldn't have any major problems reaching your targets. Look at the screen if you want to find out in which order we'll be securing pillboxes. We'll start with the right one and then we'll head on to the left one. This is a better choice, because you would have to waste a lot of time if you had decided to start with the left bunker.
Your teammates will suggest a good thing. You can't stay here, because you would find yourself under heavy and constant fire and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it. As a result, leave this hill and hide behind a large truck. Next, go to your right. Make sure that you're using some sort of a cover.
You will have to eliminate a few enemy soldiers from here. Some of them will approach you from the left, so don't be frightened if you see them jumping over sandbags and other obstacles. As for the rest, you should consider using a sniper rifle here. Don't leave this spot until you're sure that this road has been secured.
You will have to be heading east, because this is the main path leading to the first bunker. There's going to be a small area in front of you and it may be occupied by a few soldiers. Just as before, try killing them from a safe distance. You could also consider shooting at the explosive barrels, especially since it's very easy to find them.
You're getting closer to the trenches. Head on down and start moving forward. You may also encounter some enemy soldiers here. If it actually occurs, you will have to kill them in the first place. Try aiming at their heads, so you won't have to waste too much ammunition. Either way, you will have to go there. Start moving south-east. Don't use any of the side roads.
