When creating your character in Harry Potter Wizards Unite you have to choose one of three offered professions. You have one of three available professions to choose: Aurora, Magizoologist or Professor. Each profession has different set of spells and copes differently on the battlefield. On this page of our guide you will find a description of each profession, find out whether you can change them during the game or join in groups with other professions.
Auror
This group is represented by Harry Potter. His skill tree is based on the Defense against the black magic. Specialty of Auror is casting spells and defeating foes. Specialty of Auror is casting spells and defeating foes. Their skills focus on fighting and dealing direct damage to enemies. Aurors have the lowest amount of stamina and health points of all three classes.
Professor
This class is represented by Professor McGonagall. Characters belonging to this group will do a great job with potions and search for magical creatures. Their spells focus on strengthening the team and weakening enemy's attacks. It's a "middle" class. Powers and abilities of Professors are similar to those of Aurors, and their endurance is similar to Magizoologist. Professor deals more damage to special opponents and gets extra damage from enemies of the Dark Forces.
Magizoologist
This class is great for supporting Aurors. Their specialty consists in catching magical beasts. Their specialize in catching magical beasts and they provide support to the team. Characters from this profession have a highest amount of stamina and cope well in battles with beasts.
Can I change my profession?
Yes. The profession can be changed at any time of the game. Remember that they are related to skill trees. You can't move your skills to another tree and create it again.

Is it worth forming teams and parties?
If you want to make challenges in Fortresses you need to assemble a good team. In Fortresses you will duel with magical beings who want to deprive you from your desire to live. Form a fellowship with co-players to defeat opponents much faster. The team must have 3 members, one from each profession. Moreover, you can have more casters in the party. Such formation will help you in defeating various beasts.
Up to five opponents can fight in a Fortresses. However, you can create or change teams each round. You don't have to stick with the same people all the time.
