Torrential Rains x3

Weather effect, which at the beginning of the turn deals damage, of 2, to the weakest units in the opponent's row (save Gold ones). If, in a given row, there are several weakest units of the same Strength, all of them will be affected by Torrential Rains.

General hints

  1. During the Mulligan phase, it is very important to dispose of all the copies of Torrential Rains. They will be played later on, in combination with Aretuza Adept. It is just as important to shuffle Roach back into the deck, as well as greater number of Witchers.
  2. When you have 2 Witchers in your hand at the beginning, you will be able to shuffle one of them back into the deck.
  3. Regardless of whether you are starting the game, or you are second on the row, always open your game with the Leader Card. This way, you raise the overall Strength of your deck.
  4. If possible, deploy Reinforced Ballistas near Blue Stripes Scouts. This way, you will be able to use the ability of the units several times.
  5. If possible, deploy Regis: Higher Vampire in the first round, before the opponent decreases the size of their deck. This will consume the unit that may be of key importance to the game.
  6. Remember that the card Consumed by Regis: Higher Vampire go to the cemetery, so the opponent may retrieve, if only they have rejuvenating cards. This is why you should choose wisely.
  7. Adeptka z Aretuzy and Axemen Scout are perfect for decreasing the size of the deck, thanks to which you can draw important cards later into the game. Always try to use those units from the very beginning of the game.
  8. Remember that Torrential Rains deals damage to the weakest units in the row.
  9. Remember to use Dandelion to strengthen the rest of the Witchers in the deck. This way, you will increase their overall strength when they appear on the table.
  10. Try to save Witchers for last, for the ending turn. This way, using a single card, you can summon units with more than 20 Strength points.
  11. Remember that Philippa Eilhart cannot deal damage to the same units. Try to deploy her when there are larger numbers of opponent's units on the table.
  12. Keira Metz is usually used to deploy Thunderbolt Potion to strengthen 3 neighboring units. However, if you notice that there are several opponent's units, on the board, of the same lowest Strength, you can try deploying Epidemics.
  13. Deploy Axemen Scouts when you know that you can still summon another copy of a given unit from the deck. Otherwise, the ability of Axemen Scouts will not be activated and will lose your turn to play a unit with low Strength.
  14. Try not to deploy all units into a single row. If they have an equal number of Strength points, a single Scorch or Geralt: Igni in the opponent's deck can be tragic.
