Per each card revealed from your hand, it reveals 1 card from your opponent's hand. Just like in the case of the Leader Card, you can combine this card with Fire Scorpion or Daerlan Foot Soldiers. |
Regis: Higher Vampire This card has the ability that will prove useful against any other deck. It can consume one out of three, randomly chosen, bronze units of the opponent, from the opponent's deck. This way, not only do you strengthen Regis, but also deprive the opponent a unit that may prove key to the battle. The consumed unit is then put away to the cemetery. |
Leo Bonhart Leo Bonhart has 6 Strength points and additionally, he has the ability thanks to which you can pick any unit from your hand (can be Gold) and deal to the opponent damage equal to that unit's Strength. If you have upgraded Spotters, Leo Bonhart can deal damage as high as 15 points! Remember to use this card when you have hidden units in your hand, or you will not be able to activate this ability. |
Renew This card allows you to resurrect a Gold unit from the cemetery, regardless of which of the player's. Therefore, you get the option to play a gold card that used to belong to your opponent. Renew is especially useful in the last round, because several Gold cards are sure to have been played by then. Remember to make sure, before you play this card, that there is at least one unit in the cemetery that you will be able to resurrect. Otherwise, the card will be lost. |
Silver cards |
Albrich Albrich has very high Strength and apart from that, if none of the players called it a pass, it makes you and your opponent draw a card from the top of the deck. You draw a card face down, whereas your opponent draws one face up. Thanks to this, you can strengthen up your Spotters. |
Cantarella A Spy unit that you send to the side of the opponent. Although she has 10 Strength points, you usually play it in a round that you can leave out and spend on building your advantage of cards in your hand before the decisive round. Cantarella allows you to draw 1 card from the top of your deck. If you are not satisfied with the card that you have drawn, you can place it at the bottom of the deck and draw another one. |
Cynthia Cynthia works best at the beginning of the game, because she reveals the strongest unit in the opponent's hand(can be Gold) and strengthens itself by the number of Strength points of that unit. This way, you obtain a strong unit on the table at the very beginning of the game and, additionally, you learn about the opponent's strongest card. |
Egan Using this card, you can either Lock or Unlock 2 units. Egan is useful in games against any deck, because there will always be, on the table, a card that will cause an unfavorable situation. If the Locked units are on the opponent's side, they additionally take 1 point of damage. |

The card can incapacitate a powerful, strengthened unit, such as Clan Tuirseach Axeman in Skellige or Ekimme monster deck. Peter Saar Gwynleve can also be used to restore one of your units to full Strength, e.g. while it's subject to unfavorable weather conditions. |
Vanhemar Vanhemar is a highly versatile card that can be used in a variety of situations. After you have played it, you create one of the following:
|
Bronze cards |

Nilfgaardian Knight x3 A unit with as much as 10 Strength points and 2 points of Armor. Such high statistics coma at a price, because after you have played Nilfgaardian Knight, one of cards from your hand will be revealed. All well that ends well, however, because this way, you will strengthen up your Spotters and, if you are lucky, you will reveal Fire Scorpion or Daelrian Foot Soldiers. Nilfgaard Knight can also be used in combination with Leo Bonhart to deal damage of 10. |
Spotter x3 The key units in the deck. Spotters have as few as 3 Strength points, but they can be strengthened by 1 point of Strength each time any of the players reveals their card. Thanks to this, at the end of the game, they may have as many as 15 Strength points. What is interesting, Spotters increase their Strength wherever they are (in the hand, on the table or in the deck). |
Daerlan Foot Soldiers x2 Units that are played to the table immediately after they are revealed and draw 1 card from the top of the deck. Daerlan Foot Soldiers are used to decrease the size of the deck, so avoid playing them straight from the hand. Always try to reveal this unit to use its ability. The card is useful in combination with, Vattier De Rideaux, Leo Bonhart or Alchemist Leader Cards. |

General hints
- During the Mulligan phase, it is of paramount importance that you dispose of all Imperial Golems. They will be played later on in combination with the Leader Card and will be brought immediately to the table.
- If the game starts with your turn, an ideal way to open the game is playing Cynthi or a Leader Card, in order to summon Imperial Golems and decrease your own deck in size. What is even more, this will allow you to reveal up to 3 cards, so you can decide to reveal the opponent's strategy or reveal your own units if you have Daerlan Foot Soldiers.
- Remember that playing Cantarella, you can put the first card that you draw to the bottom of the deck, by pressing RMB. LMB draws the first one of them.
- If possible, play Regis: Higher Vampire in the first round, before the opponent decreases their deck, to consume the unit that may have a decisive effect on the whole game.
- Remember that the card Consumed by Regis: Higher Vampire go to the cemetery, so the opponent may retrieve, if only they have rejuvenating cards. This is why you should choose wisely.
- Remember that Renew is useful only if there are Gold units in one of the cemeteries.
- Remember to use Leo Bonhart in combination with Fire Scorpion or Daerlan Foot Soldier. Later into the game, you can also use a strengthened Spotter, to deal high damage to the opponent's unit.
- Remember to use Leo Bonhart when you still have unrevealed units. Otherwise, you will not be able to activate his ability.
- Use Egan to Block units that are important to the opponent. For example, while fighting against a Monster deck. For example, while fighting against a monster deck, Block units with the abilities of Resistance or Consume, conjuration or Nekkers.
- Use Vanhemar wisely. For example, if you play against a Monster deck, save one card to clear the table of unfavorable Weather Effects. In other situations, when there are, at least, 8 enemy units on the table, you can deal a total of 18 damage with Stammelforda's Tremors.
- Remember that Peter Saar Gwynleve first Resets a given unit and then deals damage. Hold back with playing this card until the opponent strengthens that unit. This way, you will fully take advantage of that card.
- Remember to use and Daerlan Foot Soldiers and Fire Scorpions with Vattier De Rideaux, Leo Bonhart or Alchemist to take full advantage of their potential.
- Try not to play all strongest units at once. If they have equal number of Strength points, a single Scorch cast by the opponent may bring on a catastrophe.
- Place the strengthened Spotters in a way that makes it impossible for the opponent to eliminate them all at once using Geralt: Igni. It is best to play each Spotter to a single row.
