This guide for the open beta of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game describes the most important feature of the game and helps to understand its rules. The first chapter contains a glossary of terms that the player may come across while playing as well as a handful of general tips.
The second chapter explains the gameplay basics in detail, including elements such as the match interface and course of a match. The next chapter is devoted to card collections (creating and fragmenting them), composing decks, and the account progression system. The essence of every card game, cards, are described in the subsequent one. The aspects covered include rarity, groups, and positions. The last chapter lets the player learn about all Factions available in the game and read a handful of tips that can prove useful while climbing to the top of the ranked leaderboards.
