1) Eliminate air threats

Start off by watching a short cut-scene (#1). There's nothing special about it. You'll only see the starting area for this mission. Once you're on the ground (#2), you will have to react very quickly in order to ensure the safety of your squad members. As you've probably suspected, enemy forces are heading this way.

I would recommend hiding your team for the time being, so they won't be threatened by the incoming enemy forces. There's a small to your right (#1) and that's where your team should hide. You, on the other hand, should find a good cover. Enemy soldiers will be coming from the west (#2), so get ready to fight them.

I would recommend hiding behind one of the smaller obstacles, so you'll be able to see hostile units (#1). It wouldn't be wise to stay in one spot, so you should consider changing your positions from time to time. Also, don't forget about the possibility of using your tactical map (#2). It'll help you to find enemy troops and you'll know where to hide.

Once you've dealt with the first group of enemy units, you should try and run towards the buildings on your left (#1). This will allow you to take out a few additional troops. Check the second screen (#2) if you want to know where exactly you should be standing.

Before you order your men to get here, you will have to make sure that this entire road in front of you has been properly secured (#1). Start moving towards the first RPG site. You must be VERY CAREFUL here. Once you've reached this building (#2), order your squad members to guard this area. Try moving closer to the building and a nearby square.

Obviously you won't be allowed to proceed directly to the main square, because that would be equal to an instant death. Instead, try leaning out carefully. Start off by taking out one of the enemy snipers (#1). Once he's gone, deal with the remaining enemy troops (#2). Most of the rebel soldiers will be hiding behind sandbags.

Now you should notice that a humvee has appeared in the area (#1). Obviously you will have to take out its gunner, before taking care of the remaining soldiers (#2). Most of them will be standing near the vehicle, so you shouldn't have any problems finding them. Just make sure that you're standing behind a good cover (preferably a wall of the right building). You will have to secure the entire square from here.

Try moving north a little. If no one fires at you, keep moving towards the northern side of the building. Obviously you will have to be standing near the wall of the right building (#1), because this is where you'll find soldiers equipped with rocket launchers. The second team of enemy units is going to appear on your left (#2). Take them out from here.
