Ultima IX: Ascension

Ultima IX: Ascension is a classic cRPG game created under the responsibility of the Origin Systems development team. The plot continues with themes from Ultima VIII: Pagan. The player learns about Avatar's struggle with the Guardian and his supporters. Contrary to earlier versions of the series, the creators decided to use a modern 3D graphic engine presenting the action from the third person's perspective (TPP).
Ultima Online

One of the first successful massive multiplayer online role-playing games. The story takes place in the universe brought to life in 1980 with the advent of the Ultima series. Ultima Online was developed by Origin Systems. The game world is a fantasy realm, bearing some resemblance to medieval Europe, called Britannia. It takes place after the events of the first installment of the series. After the fearsome wizard Mondain was defeated, his Gem of Immortality was destroyed. This led to the creation of many parallel worlds, represented in-game as individual servers. Ultima Online allows us to create a character of predefined profession (warrior, merchant or mage) and participate in the life of online community consisting of thousands of players. The players can complete various quests, fight monsters and develop their character. The world is being constantly watched by the so-called Game Masters who make sure that the players will be never bored.
Ultima VIII: Pagan

The eight major entry in a cult cRPG series created by Richard Garriott, whose first part debuted back in 1980 as one of the first commercial products in its kind. The next chapter in the saga about the nameless hero known as the Avatar is a continuation of the events of the previous game. The main antagonist is again the evil demon Guardian, who managed to capture the hero, and wants to take revenge on him for thwarting the demon’s plan of conquering the continent of Britannia. Hence, Ultima VIII: Pagan takes you to a very different world, called Pagan, governed by unfamiliar rules. The player, obviously, has to break free and ultimately defeat evil. When compared to the seventh installment, released in 1992, the game employs a brand new engine, therefore the number of details is significantly greater, although the title still features isometric view. As you play, you control a single hero and gradually develop his statistics and skills over time.

The plot shows the struggle against the evil demon Guardian, who tries to capture the hearts and minds of Britannians. However, players have a lot of freedom to explore the vast virtual world and perform quests.
