The sixth installment in the Avatar saga that ends the Age of Enlightment and introduces a true revolution in the world of cRPGs – an isometric view. Alas, the first try looks unimpressive, mainly because of the underdeveloped action window and bulky interface.
The story of The False Prophet is not as rich as those of its predecessors, and takes us to the world of Britannia yet again. This time around, as the Avatar, we must fight Gargoyles who came to the surface from the underworld of Stygian Abyss after their world had been destroyed in the process of freeing Lord British in Warriors of Destiny. Once they reached the Britannia, they immediately took over the altars of eight main virtues.
We travel with our friends - Dupree, Iolo and Shamino - through a fully 3D world where almost everything can be touched or used. During our journey, it turns out that the Gargoyles are not so bad after all, and all they want is to get their property back, namely the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom. In order to secure peace, we must put the Codex in an ethereal void.
