The fourth major installment in the popular tactical first-person shooter series by Rebellion, in which we assume the role of a trained sniper fighting on various fronts of the World War II. In Sniper Elite 4, we control Karl Fairburne, the protagonist of the previous games, who is sent from North Africa to the Apennine Peninsula. His mission is to cooperate with the Italian resistance in order to help the Allied forces that are pushing to the north. As far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, the game develops the ideas of its predecessor, and our task is to efficiently eliminate subsequent targets; how are we going to do it is entirely up to us. The game takes place on vast sandbox maps and, as usual, puts a great emphasis on realistic recreation of bullet behavior depending on the atmospheric conditions. The title is meant to be played solo or in cooperation mode, although it does not lack for other multiplayer features known from its predecessors.

An online shooter which is a debut project of the Latvian studio Darkflow Software, created in cooperation with Gaijin Entertainment, the studio responsible for War Thunder. Enlisted takes place during World War II. The initial phase of the project is marked by two extensive campaigns released separately: Operation Typhoon (Battle of Moscow), and Operation Overlord (Battle for Normandy), while the next campaigns are in development. The game is a multiplayer-only title, but attempts to create interesting combat objectives, more in the vein of single player games, for groups of players. For example, we are tasked with a swift relocation to strategic positions, or to secure an area before the reinforcements arrive. The game is seen from a first person perspective, but a TPP mode is also available. Enlisted employs the Dagor Engine, used previously in War Thunder. The engine is able to generate large maps with destructible environments, and supports up to 100 players during a single match.

A multiplayer World War II first-person shooter. The game is a debut project of an Australian studio Black Matter. Hell Let Loose takes place during the World War II and the player can participate in the Battle of Stalingrad, operation Overlord, Guadalcanal Campaign and other theaters. The player can fight alongside the Allies or the Axis. The game focuses on presenting the war in a realistic way. The battles are played on vast maps based on archives. The gameplay focuses on battles fought between two teams consisting of 50 people. The teams are divided into smaller platoons and the soldiers are tasked with taking over and holding specific sectors while also maintaining supply lines. Commanders are controlling the situation on the battlefield and the key to success lies in cooperation of team members and in coordination of actions. The soldiers can use more than a dozen of varied weapons. They can also use vehicles and call in air strikes.

An adventure/hidden object game taking place during World War II, created as a result of cooperation between Brave Giant studio and the distributor Artifex Mundi. The plot of Agent Walker: Secret Journey focuses around a mythical artifact called The Spear of Destiny, which according to certain beliefs has the power to change the course of the war. During the gameplay we assume the role of the titular agent, who receives a mission to find and destroy the artifact before its power is harnessed by the enemy. While traversing the grim battlefields and encountering various obstacles and dangers, our protagonist discovers that there is an enemy spy among the Allies, who will do everything in his power to stop her from carrying out the mission. When it comes to mechanics, the title isn’t different from the standards of the genre, while the gameplay focuses on visiting new locations, and solve riddles present there. The gameplay is complemented by scenes with hidden items and numerous mini-games and logical puzzles.
