Controlled characters collect items and use them in puzzles in order to push the story further. Adventure games usually offer only single player mode and the point-and-click interface. The work of Introversion Software’s team delivered a title set in a system of underground caves and corridors, wrapped in utter darkness. With no flashlights or torches of any kind, we can only navigate using laser-scanning system LIDAR, which displays our surroundings as three-dimensional shapes formed by sparkling points.
