It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Hordes of demons that managed to get into the human world are trying to stop him.
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - Jack the Ripper

Furi takes place in an original fantasy realm and the player assumes the role of a warrior who tries to escape from a gigantic prison. Many guards are standing on his way and he must defeat them in order to obtain the keys to his freedom. The gameplay is focused on combat with the use of melee weapons and guns.
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam

Developed by Tripware Interactive in cooperation with Antimatter Games, an FPS which is a continuation to Rising Storm. As the title suggests, the action takes place in Vietnam, where you assume the roles of American or Vietnamese soldiers. The mechanics do not differ considerably from those in the previous installment and once again emphasize realism. Due to the different historical period and realities of the conflict presented, the game now features choppers, booby-traps, and machine guns.
Broforce

The game employs a parodic style to resurrect the legend of classic side-scrolling arcade shooters and the cult of movie tough guys from eighties and nineties. Playing as such icons like John Rambo, Texas Ranger, John McClane, B.A. Barracus, Robocop, or Conan, the player moves through levels filled with typical evil mooks and villains.
Rise of the Tomb Raider

Tunic is an isometric action-adventure game. We play as a anthropoid fox who explores a fantasy land full of treasures and monsters. The game's plot is told mostly through pictures and events as most of the lines are written in unintelligible, fictional language. In Tunic, we explore big, partially open maps, gather items, and fight many various enemies, including powerful bosses. Developers created an arcade combat system that allows us to execute various attacks and dodges.
Arma III: Apex
